With all the recent news about Asian hornets spreading further across the UK, we’re keeping a close eye out.

This big one here (next to a £1 coin for scale!) is actually a European hornet — not the invasive Asian hornet. Still very large and intimidating, but thankfully not the same threat to our pollinators.
